VelocityPay is a software platform that interfaces with NOWPayments, a licensed cryptocurrency payment processor. Velocity is NOT a money transmitter or licensed financial institution. All crypto-to-fiat conversions and settlements are processed by NOWPayments. Merchant funds flow directly from NOWPayments to the merchant's configured bank account.
By creating an account or using VelocityPay, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
VelocityPay provides a crypto payment terminal SaaS. Merchants use the platform to initiate cryptocurrency payment requests, display QR codes to customers, and receive USD settlements via the NOWPayments processing network.
Velocity acts as an interface layer. We do not hold, transmit, or convert cryptocurrency on behalf of merchants. The licensed payment processor is NOWPayments.
VelocityPay offers three subscription tiers:
Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You authorize VelocityPay to charge your payment method on file. Plans may be upgraded, downgraded, or cancelled at any time via the billing portal. Downgrade takes effect at the next billing cycle.
VelocityPay charges a 1.5% transaction fee on each payment processed through the terminal. This is inclusive of the 0.5% charged by NOWPayments. Total merchant fee is 1.5% of the USD amount.
Fees are deducted automatically. No separate invoice is issued for transaction fees.
NOWPayments is the payment processor and handles all crypto custody, conversion, and fiat settlement. VelocityPay does not control NOWPayments' operations, exchange rates, or settlement timelines.

All merchants must complete identity verification via Stripe Identity before accessing the payment terminal. KYC verification includes government ID and selfie confirmation.
Velocity reserves the right to suspend accounts that fail KYC or that we reasonably believe are engaged in prohibited activities.

Velocity reserves the right to terminate accounts engaged in prohibited activities and will cooperate with law enforcement as required.
VelocityPay is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime or error-free service. Planned maintenance windows will be communicated in advance when possible.
We are not liable for downtime, data loss, or business interruption caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party service failures (Stripe, NOWPayments, Neon, Render).
VelocityPay may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if we reasonably believe you are:
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation does not affect payments already processed.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VELOCITYPAY IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE FEES YOU PAID TO VELOCITYPAY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved within 30 days, either party may initiate binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address on file and/or a notice on the platform. Continued use of VelocityPay after notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
